What do we want to achieve? How can we make sure that the various initiatives and actions undertaken in the here and now will support one another and work towards a coherent hole? – These were the question which we addressed in a strategy workshop held in July 2024. We soon realized that in order to answer these questions, we had to fast forward and formulate our Greenridge Vision 2028.
In other words, whatever we do and regardless of how we tackle the specific issue at hand, every single activity ought to be a steppingstone towards that vision. This, then, is what we want to be able to say about our beautiful estate by 2028 – proudly and unreservedly:
“Brackenridge eco-estate prides itself of seventy hectares of healthy, natural fynbos. A network of walking paths invites residents to explore its rich fauna and flora. This pristine environment envelops the privately-owned properties and rewards residents with an unparalleled life-style.
As an eco-conscious community, Brackenridge practices an integrated, custodial approach in environmental management. The estate is committed to the preservation of indigenous vegetation in the shared natural environment and private gardens.”
